Clubs
The aims of the Finchley Italian Social Club are to unite the Italian Community who live here in North London and establish and strengthen existing bonds with Italy. The club achieves this by organising social events and promoting cultural activities.
Throughout the year the club hosts Family events such as a “Festa di Carnevale” and a “Family Lunch” in the Spring. Additionally adult evenings, usually a “Dinner and Dance” are held some time in the Autumn.
Our two youth clubs, which are held once a month, provide our young people with the opportunity to meet up with friends and foster their family’s Italian culture.
Every two years the Finchley Club also registers a team of 9 – 21 year olds to compete in the Olimpiadi Gioventu Italiana.
Other clubs include “La Dolce Vita Club di Finchley”, a club for the over 50’s whose members meet once a month.
The Finchley Club supports the Missionary Fathers and raises funds for local organisations and recognised charities.
The club is run by an Executive Committee who meet regularly and organise all the events and clubs mentioned above.
