AC Finchley was conceived in February 2005 to help serve the Barnet community. Our aim and ethos is to have an inclusive Football Club for players of all abilities and ages. The founder members were concerned that most youth football clubs end at the age 16 ! None had continuance at the critical age(16-18), it was felt that by creating a football club that extended the playing careers of youths it would help to keep them disciplined, healthy and off the street.

We have structured the Club so that each age group will have 2 teams, we have already achieved this at 7 out of the 11 age groups. We are especially proud of our under 7’s academy, girls academy and Veteran Squad.

We have also created strong links with Barnet schools and youth clubs, we are looking to continue our relationships, expand our programme and continue our progress.

Looking to the future we are a community football club with ambitions to have a clubhouse and facilities we can call our own. This will help our vision to bond people through football at all ages and have a common place to congregate and socialise.
